One In A Million
We value our place and role in our local community. As such we’ve signed up as a corporate partner of the Bradford-based charity One In A Million (OIAM). The charity does outstanding work across the five areas of the Bradford district covering Keighley, Bierley, Canterbury, Manningham and Windhill.
OIAM engages predominantly with disadvantaged children and young people, aged between 5-19 years old. Through sports, the arts and enterprise themed programmes, the charity delivers formal and informal education to break cycles of deprivation over their young lives, valuing and celebrating their uniqueness, letting them know they are ‘one in a million’.
This is what they say about themselves: “Our vision is child-centric placing them at the heart of all that we do. And so are our core values; compassion, honesty, integrity and excellence – they are the DNA that runs throughout our charity shaping our culture and ethos. We believe that every child is unique and valued.”
This is something the whole tap-in team supports and thinks is very worthwhile and we’ll be doing various fun things during the year to support the charity. If you want to know more about what we are doing please feel free to ask about it - any ideas and suggestions are always welcomed
